Essay about a visit to a restaurant
Recently a friend of mine, Sandeep, gave us some good news. He had been promoted at work. Anne, another friend of ours, also had good news, although of a different kind. Her engagement date had been fixed. We had been anticipating the event for sometime. All the friends were talking about how this calls for a party, when another of our friends, Balbir, announced that he was moving to the United States. He had already started the formalities and he was feeling optimistic that he would soon get a visa. One of his uncles, who lived in the States, had asked him to come and work with him. The uncle did not have any children and had offered Ravi to come and stay with him and take care of his business. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for Ravi.
Whatever the good news, it was obvious that the beneficiary of good news should give a treat or party depending on the quality of the good news. This news was mind blowing and all the friends now had another party to look forward to. Unfortunately, both the events were back to back and it was not even certain that Balbir would be able to attend Annie’s engagement, let alone the wedding.
It was decided that on the coming Sunday Sandeep, Annie and Balbir would give all of us a party at this really high end Fusion Food Restaurant called Fusion Food. Annie would make the reservations and she would split the bill with Sandeep and Balbir.
